Ellis Hung(Chairman &Co-Founder)
With over 30 years of experience in technology and IT Services, Ellis is a seasoned serial entrepreneur, executive, investor & advisor for technology startups and global enterprises. He has founded and held the position of CEO for a number of big data, AI & technology startups. He brings to AskSME his vast leadership experience in multinational business enterprises in the United States and the Asia Pacific. In addition to his capacity as the President of AskSME, Ellis serves as a board member and advisor for different businesses. He is also a savvy real estate investor and advisor.His volunteer experience includes:
- HOA president of the local silicon valley community.
-Various roles with non-profits organizations such as AAMA, HKSiA, etc.
Josephine Lee (COO & Co-Founder)
Josephine oversees operations and administration at AskSME. She has more than 25 years of experience in IT system development, consulting, and project management. Previously working with Accenture and DXC, Josephine has deep knowledge in business transformation, regulatory compliance, and IT operations.
Her volunteer experience includes also:
- Former board member of Rainbow Missions, an NGO with its headquarters in Seattle, WA.
- Former Mission Administrator for Chinese Christian Herald Crusades (Canada).
- Meal delivery runner for Meals on Wheels (Toronto, Canada).
Kinman Kam (Program Director & Co-Founder)
With extensive experience in program development and consulting service, Kinman oversees program management and engagement initiatives. Previously he worked with Arthur Anderson, Hewlett- Packard, and Achievo in the United States and the Asia Pacific. Kinman has an MBA from Santa Clara University.
He is also a subject matter expert in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and SAP. Kinman is passionate about helping under-served students that are left behind due to different challenges. Though recently retired, he is actively involved in volunteer work and church activities.
Helen Leung (Director for Outreach & Co-Founder)
Helen is a former Board of Trustees member of Orchard School District in San Jose, CA. She has worked part-time for non-profit organizations over the past 13 years. After eight years working in software development and as a technical support manager, she decided to raise her 3 children full-time. She homeschooled her children during their upper elementary to middle school years.
With her involvement in education and experience in serving children, she is honored to join AskSME as Communication and Outreach Director. Helen graduated with a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Statistics from Cal State Hayward. She went on to get her M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Queenie Yung (CFO & Co-Founder)
Queenie provides oversight and leadership to key financial operational functions. She has more than 20 years of experience in and accounting with broad knowledge in accounting, budgeting, and reporting. Queenie has a B Sc. in Management Science and Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance in the UK. She is currently the HR Director with a start-up company in Silicon Valley. An active volunteer, Queenie has been serving as the CFO for a non-profit organization located in southern California, registered in Delaware and California since 2008. Her other volunteer experience includes financial support, annual tax filing, and bookkeeping for a Chinese school located in San Jose, California for 7 years.
